If so, you’re in good company amongst fellow believers. Every Christian entrepreneur faces fear at some point. But here’s the good news: fear doesn’t mean you’re disqualified—it often means you’re stepping into something bigger than yourself.

Fear is often the loudest when we’re closest to stepping into obedience. Without understanding how to handle it, fear can:
But fear doesn’t have to hold you back. In fact, fear can become confirmation that you’re on the right track.
Scripture is full of leaders who wrestled with fear:
And yet—God used them mightily. Not because they were fearless, but because they chose faith over fear.
The same is true for you. Fear may never fully disappear, but you don’t have to wait for it to. You just need to trust the One who called you.
In 2022, I walked away from what looked like a dream job on paper. Behind the scenes, fear was loud:
But in prayer, God reminded me: He doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called. That truth gave me the courage to take the next step, even though I couldn’t see the whole path.
If fear has been holding you back, here are three biblical ways to move forward:
Your confidence doesn’t come from yourself—it comes from God’s presence with you (Matthew 28:20).
Failure may be inevitable along the journey, but it isn’t final. Proverbs 24:16 says, “Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.” Every setback is a setup for growth.
God isn’t asking you to guarantee success. He’s asking you to take the next step. Like Peter, your role is to get out of the boat. The results are in His hands.
When you stop viewing fear as a stop sign and start viewing it as an invitation to trust God, everything changes. Fear becomes fuel for deeper faith, and faith becomes the foundation for your business. Building our spiritual trust in God is a primary way that He equips us to experience the incredible.
And the best part? When you move forward despite fear, your courage doesn’t just impact you—it inspires others and builds God’s Kingdom.
